About the Artist

Based in Dublin, Barbara’s work is heavily influenced by nature with abstracted colours and mood dominating the work. Acrylic is her preferred medium, which allows her the freedom to create interesting layers and depth to the canvas. She enjoys building on these layers to create atmosphere and emotion. Although her paintings are born from the landscape that surrounds her, Barbara’s paintings are an emotional response resulting in paintings that are colourful and vibrant.
