Artist Statement

I was born in west side of Poland in Leszno in 1979.

My willingness to paint probably started on my adolescence, when I stopped to take unconsciously events in my live. Also I was "infected" by words and passion of my mother, who also paints I didn't want to loose this passion it so I chose to bind my life with art and after my high school I passed exam to Art Studies. I study there, painting, drawing, stained glass, photography and visual art.

In 2004 I came to Ireland where I was working in many fields; also I was traveling between Poland and Ireland to pass my final exam ( BA degree) in 2005 . Exam contained two parts; First manual, which subject was Tarot cards and Thesis work about our live journey: Perception of Good and Evil in Tarot cards according to C.G. Jung theory.

I am still living in Ireland and continued studied live journey and human nature.

I express myself mostly in paintings where I present women in different states, moods, using different techniques and also during time different colors. This is more personal way of expression. My works are simple enough so recently I decided to not give them any names label to give that task to the observer. Also I found interest in photography, mostly black and white which gave me opportunity to be focus on subject and good composition. In photography everything can inspire, when we are able to put certain kind of filter on our eye and with knowledge of time and shutter and lighting we will achieve the effect we wanted to archive.

I use also other techniques such as graphic, computer graphics and stained glass.

I am using materials such as canvas, acrylics, oil and ink; I like to mixed media and forms.
